Heroes of Black Summer
Australian Geographic approached me to create a book that celebrated some of the people who helped out during the 2020 bushfires that affected a huge area of eastern Australia.
We travelled to Mitta Mitta to get a sense of the beautiful landscape and visit part of the bushfire effected forests.

The characters were the main focus, but I also tried to give a sense of the beauty of the rural Australian landscape.
